A lot of artist like myself are into artwork and auction houses involving art.

What they may be looking for, what interview questions they might ask? I can’t say I am a huge expert of antiques but I do know about paintings…

I’m helping someone to find a buyer in Japan for a 1922 amendment to Babe Ruth’s Yankee Contract signed by Babe Ruth. After Babe Ruth started drinking too much and womanizing and showing up too late to practice the owners amended his contract to say that if he didn’t behave better he would be kicked off the team. The man who is in possesion of this unique contract asked me to help him find a buyer in Japan. He’s opposed to selling it on Ebay or in the U.S. and he’s very specific that he wants to sell it in Japan. Please help. He’s going to give me a lot of money if I help him find a buyer because it could be worth upward of 250,000 dollars.

I know of the few auction houses and they do their sporadic auction throughout the year but is there a website that keep tracks of all the auctions they are hosting - so one doesn’t need to keep checking all the time?

If not, let’s start compile a list ourselves. Here are some auction companies I know… Feel free to add the ones you know in:

Have tried the local paper but can’t find any information there. Does anyone know if there’s a website that lists auction houses? I’m in Hertfordshire in the UK.

Other auction houses available are etsy.com, iOffer.com, craig’s list, and more. What has been you experience on these different sites? Is the cosst worth the change?

Anyone know of any auction houses near to romford, thanks in advance

What are their advertising methods? How long before their auction starts do they start advertising?
