I’m a first time writer, so none of my work has been published yet but interested in selling my work to an interested party. Also welcome advice on how to get started in becoming a published writer.

There is a house that is up for auction in my area in April. I went to a website to register for the auction and everything, but I just don’t know what I am supposed to do once I get to this auction. I have never been to one before. If anyone has any advice or thoughts, I would really appreciate it.

I heard a person can buy property for a song at bank and police auctions- is this true, or is it a scam? I’d like to by a recent decent used car, and am toying with the idea of looking at such an auction- are bargains really there?
and please respond in English

I’d like to find a house to buy at auction, but am leary of subscribing to the listing sites online. How do I find out about the actual bank auctions ? Thanks !

Seems like you can get listings if you pay a fee to a web site, but is there any other way to find out what houses are up for auction?

I left my husband 3 months ago and didnt have anywhere to go with my two small children so a friend said i could stay at her house which she had left as she could no longer pay the mortgage on it. I have found out it was in court today (7th May) for repossession, the owner has been to the house today and said that she needs me out by tonight, obviously I have nowhere to go…what are my rights as to staying in the house and does she have the right to make me leave now or is it down to the mortgage lenders? Also does anyone know if it is possible to rent the house from the mortgage lender rather than buying it from an auction? I also own my own house with my husband but he is refusing to leave, the house is up for sale so just need to stay here til my house sells. Any answers would be a great help as I dont know what to do from here.

I know that in the UK, there are repossessions and such where the houses are sold off via auction. How would I find out where they are or if there are any in my area? Also, how would I go about bidding? Is it difficult to do this? Would I need a loan/mortgage in place before bidding? Please answer all these parts of the question and tell me any other information you know. Thankyou.

What methods to banks use to collect the difference between what’s owed and what the house sells for at auction?
What I’m wondering is what are the consequences if it’s not paid.

I just read that a bank held an auction of a bunch of properties in
Las Vegas, and the bank accepted 90% of the offers. I am guessing that
the people who go to these auctions are investors with cash, right?

I was at a house auction the other day and it was looking pretty dead. The only person who bid was some mysterious bidder on the phone. I have a strong suspicion that this person was made up to pressure us into outbidding him to buy the house.
The phantom ended up winning the bid but it was “passed in” because it didnt meet the reserve.
Is phantom bidding a legal tactic used to pressure other bidders to outbid them?
